Hallie Shoffner Ally Kamala Harris Begins Arkansas Endorsements—Is Shoffner Next?

Former Vice President Kamala Harris has begun making endorsements in Arkansas, saying today that she will support 2nd Congressional District candidate Chris Jones as Democrats try to flip the seat.

Hallie Shoffner donated to Harris 25 separate times, likely making her the next candidate to receive an endorsement from the former VP.

“Kamala Harris was a disaster for Arkansas,” Sen. Tom Cotton said. “Under the Biden-Harris administration, inflation hit 9 percent, our military was underfunded, and the federal government sued Arkansas for protecting our kids. Arkansans rejected the Harris agenda, and they don’t want it coming back.”

Shoffner’s support for national Democrats extends beyond Harris. She has also donated to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, and other progressive Democrats.

“Kamala Harris’s recent support for Arkansas Democrat candidates raises questions about who the former Vice President will endorse next. After Hallie Shoffner donated to Kamala Harris twenty-five times, it makes sense that Shoffner would be the next candidate to receive Kamala Harris’s support,” Cotton campaign spokesman James Arnold said. “Arkansans deserve to know whether Hallie Shoffner has sought this endorsement, and if not, why not?”
